Artist Bio
Scott Cummins

Scott Cummins most recently appeared at the Goodman in Lobby Hero during the 2002/2003 Season. Other Goodman credits include Among the Thugs. Throughout his 12 years of participating in the Chicago theater community, Mr. Cummins has been involved in many productions as an actor, director and fight choreographer. Most recently, he appeared at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival where he played Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, Oberon in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Bassanio in The Merchant of Venice. Other favorite roles include Pale in Burn This with Strawdog, for which he received a Joseph Jefferson Citation for Best Actor; the title role in Hamlet with Rivendell Theatre and Powertap Productions; and Art Ruck in Famous Door’s Early and Often, among others. Mr. Cummins has also appeared with Ashley Judd and Luke Perry in John McNaughton’s feature film Normal Life, and in Heidi Van Lear’s film Chi-Girl. Television credits include Early Edition, Turks and What About Joan?
