Artist Bio
Sarah Sheperd
(Bio as of June 2002)
Sarah Sheperd most recently appeared at the Goodman in Galileo Galilei during the 2001/2002 Season. Chicago area credits include Princess Margaret in The Student Prince with Light Opera Works; Tisbe in La Cenerentola and Vera Boronel in The Consul with Bowen Park Opera. Regional credits include the role of Johnny Burcar in the world premiere of The Children of the Keweenaw with the Pine Mountain Music Festival; the title role in Carmen (Artist-in-Residence tour) and the Madrigal Singer in Manon Lescaut with Opera Memphis. Additional opera credits include the roles of Hansel in Hansel and Gretel and the Second Lady in Die Zauberflöte with Colorado Lyric Theatre. She has appeared as an apprentice artist with the Sarasota Opera and Opera North, and performed in concert with The Colorado Symphony and the Portland Symphony Orchestra.
