Artist Bio
Sarah Chalcroft
(Bio as of October 2013)
Sarah Chalcroft makes her Goodman debut. Previously she appeared in The Dream of the Burning Boy at Profiles Theatre, her first show in Chicago since relocating from London. In England, her credits include Purgatorio at The Chocolate Factory; 4.48 Psychosis at Stonecrabs Theatre Company; Hedda Gabler at Theatre Babel; Blind Mouth Singing and Transmissions at Birmingham Repertory Theatre and Love’s Labour’s Lost, Twelfth Night, Hamlet and As You Like It with British Touring Shakespeare Company. Scottish credits include Queen Margaret, The Merchant of Venice, King Lear, Henry V, Much Ado About Nothing, Measure for Measure, The Tempest and As You Like It at Glasgow’s Bard in the Botanics; Romeo and Juliet and Infinite Variety at Cumbernauld Theatre; Vivienne Grout’s Adventure in Another Metropolis for sparkleDark Theatre Company and The Vagina Monologues for Cottiers Theatre. Ms. Chalcroft appeared in Taggart on Scottish television. She is also the artistic director of newly incorporated Runcible Theatre Company.
