Artist Bio
Sara Edwards
(Bio as of September 2008)
Sara Edwards most recently appeared at the Goodman in Turn of the Century during the 2008/2009 Season. She makes her Goodman debut. Ms. Edwards’ New York credits include Of Thee I Sing and No, No Nanette, both productions with New York City Center Encores! National tours include Evita as Young Eva (understudying/performing as Mistress and Tango); Irving Berlin’s White Christmas as the Cigarette Girl and understudying as Judy Haynes in both the Detroit and Toronto companies; and Beauty and the Beast (as the Enchantress) with Atlanta Theatre of the Stars. Regional credits include Singin’ in the Rain (understudying/performing as the Girl in the Green Dress) at North Shore Music Theatre; Oklahoma! at Atlanta Theatre of the Stars; Chicago (as Go-to-Hell Kitty and understudying Deborah Gibson as Velma) at Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma; Century of Christmas at Gateway Playhouse; Footloose (understudying Rusty); The Wizard of Oz (understudying Wicked Witch); and West Side Story. Ms. Edwards received her BFA from Oklahoma City University and has been a member of AEA since 2004.
