Artist Bio
Sara Beth Lane
(Bio as of September 2005)
Sara Beth Lane most recently appeared at the Goodman in Purlie during the 2005/2006 Season. Broadway credits include David Merrick’s Oh Kay!. Off-Broadway credits include Jack Hofsis’ Heart’s Desire. Ms. Lane’s national tour credits include West Side Story and Dreamgirls. Her regional credits include more than 12 productions, including Play On! at Pasadena Playhouse. Concert dance credits-include Chapel Hill Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre and Radio City’s Easter Extravaganza (traveling 21 countries). Film credits include Sunday Morning Stripper, Game at the 2005 Sundance Festival and Beth Lane’s Afro-Brazilian Cardio Video. Ms. Lane attended the North Carolina School of Performing Arts (ballet) and the Otis-Parsons School of Design (graphic design). She received the LAUSD Beyond the Bell 2005 Award, as well as the Advertising Club of L.A. Award.
