Artist Bio
Santo Loquasto
(Bio as of January 2008)
Santo Loquasto most recently collaborated with the Goodman on Shining City during the 2007/2008 Season. He has designed sets for theater, film, dance and opera. His recent designs include Three Days of Rain, Prelude to a Kiss, Inherit the Wind and 110 in the Shade. He has been the recipient of three Tony Awards and has been nominated 14 times. He received the Merritt Award for Excellence in Design and Collaboration in 2002, was inducted into the Theatre Hall of Fame in 2004, received the Pennsylvania Governor’s Award for the Arts in 2006 and was awarded the Robert L.B. Tobin Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2007. He has collaborated with Woody Allen on 24 films.
