Artist Bio
Sam Hyson
(Bio as of November 2023)
Sam Hyson (U/S Musician) is a Chicago-based musician with a passion for international music. He performs on violin, accordion, and other instruments, playing Bengali folk music, Arabic music, Mariachi, and more. He cofounded Chicago Folklore Ensemble, with whom he created two albums of music and a book of immigrant stories. This is Sam’s 2nd year with Goodman’s A Christmas Carol; previous theater experience includes Indecent (DePaul Theatre School) and Unveiled (WaterTower Theatre, Dallas, TX). samhyson.com
