Artist Bio
Rossmery Almonte

Rossmery Almonte is a Dominican-American actress and comedian. A recurring figure at the Puerto Rican Traveling Theater in NYC, she notably portrayed Doña Tita in I Like It Like That, both in its initial Off-Broadway run and a 2024 musical concert revival. Her theatrical journey includes Hamlet en Harlem at the Instituto Cervantes de NYC, the world premiere of The Miracle, and has appeared in productions like the HBO Max series Gordita Chronicles, among others. Beyond acting, Almonte’s voice has resonated internationally through her narration of the audiobook How Not to Drown in a Glass of Water.
