Artist Bio
Robin Vest
(Bio as of September 2009)
Robin Vest most recently collaborated with the Goodman on Animal Crackers during the 2009/2010 Season. Ms. Vest’s New York credits include set design for Hoodoo Love at Cherry Lane Theatre; A Very Common Procedure at Manhattan Theatre Club; Pen at Playwrights Horizons; Geometry of Fire, Acts of Mercy: passion-play and God Hates the Irish at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater; Black Snow at The New School; Mario and the Magician at Center for Contemporary Opera; and Get What You Need at Atlantic 453. She also designed shows with Juilliard’s Drama Division, Barnard College, The Actors Company Theatre, Clubbed Thumb, 13p and Washington Ensemble Theatre. Ms. Vest’s regional credits include set design for The Mystery of Irma Vep at The Old Globe, Hansel and Gretel at Washington National Opera and Ariadne auf Naxos at Utah Opera and Vancouver Opera. She has also designed for Brevard Music Center, Triad Stage, PlayMakers Repertory Company, Williamstown Theater Festival and Yale Repertory Theatre. Ms. Vest is on the design faculty at Rutgers University.
