Artist Bio
Robert Breuler
(Bio as of June 2008)
Robert Breuler most recently appeared at the Goodman in Gas for Less during the 2007/2008 Season. Mr. Breuler’s other Goodman credits include Riverview: A Melodrama with Music, All the Rage and Spinning into Butter. He has appeared at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, where he has been an ensemble member for 17 years, in Carter’s Way, The Diary of Anne Frank, Slaughterhouse Five, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Infidel and A Walk in the Woods (Jeff Award). He recently played David Greenglass in John Hancock’s The Brother at the Theatre Building. Broadway shows include The Grapes of Wrath, The Song of Jacob Zulu, Death of a Salesman and Carousel. Regional credits include work at Guthrie Theater, Dallas Theatre Center and Hartford Stage. International credits include London’s National Theatre, The Barbican and His Majesty’s Theatre, Perth, Australia. Mr. Breuler’s film credits include The Crucible and Trial by Jury. His television credits include NYPD Blue, Prison Break and Early Edition. He is the recipient of the William and Eva Fox Fellowship and a Rockefeller Grant. He has been a member of Actors Equity for 37 years.
