Artist Bio
Rick Hilsabeck
(Bio as of June 2003)
Rick Hilsabeck most recently appeared at the Goodman in Bounce during the 2002/2003 Season. Other Goodman credits include appearances with Hubbard Street Dance Company where he enjoyed a long tenure. Chicago credits include Henry Ford in the original cast of Ragtime, directed by Frank Galati. National credits include four years as The Phantom in the first national tour of The Phantom of the Opera, for which he received a Joseph Jefferson Award nomination in Chicago, and Governor Slaton in the national tour of Parade, both directed by Harold Prince. Regional credits include King Marchan in Victor/Victoria, Claude in The Dinner Party, Bela in Crazy for You, the Husband in Stephen Sondheim’s Putting It Together, Nicely Nicely in Guys and Dolls and Oscar in Sweet Charity at the Arvada Center (Arvada, Colorado); and Cryer Creed in Rodeo and Bill Tanner in Midwives at the New Noises Festival (Steamboat Springs, Colorado).
