Artist Bio
Raúl Romero Lira

Raúl Romero Lira (Kukulkan) is a Mexican actor and director. His professional experience includes more than 120 plays for which he has directed or acted. Residing in Chicago since 1993, he has worked in several film, television and theater projects with organizations such as the Mexican Fine Arts Museum, Telemundo Network and most recently with Aguijon Theater, the institution that gave him his first professional opportunity in Chicago. Lira Graduated from Mexico City’s Theater Arts Institute, where he also taught acting and speech in the’80s.
