Octavio Montes de Oca

Octavio Montes De Oca (Assistant Teaching Artist) is a Chicago-based director and actor. A first-generation Mexican American, his work centers on Latine and immigrant narratives, with a focus on movement-driven performance and new play development. He is a resident director with Port of Entry at Albany Park Theater Project. Octavio holds a BFA in Acting from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a graduate of THE ACADEMY at Black Box Acting. He is represented by Gray Talent Group.
