Octavio Montes de Oca

Octavio Montes De Oca, he/him (Script Assistant) is a director and actor based in Chicago. As a first-generation Mexican American, his work centers on Latine and immigrant narratives, movement-driven performance and new play development. He is a proud company member of Albany Park Theater Project, PlayMakers Laboratory and Subtext Studio Theatre Company. Octavio holds a BFA in Acting from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is a graduate of THE ACADEMY at Black Box Acting.
