Artist Bio
Nathan Davis
(Bio as of April 2003)
Nathan Davis’ (1917-2008) Goodman credits include Trojan Women, The Odyssey, The Government Inspector, The Time of Your Life, Lakeboat, A House Not Meant to Stand and Tennessee Laughs. At Steppenwolf Theatre, Mr. Davis performed in The Grapes of Wrath (also at La Jolla Playhouse, in London and on Broadway), Slavs, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Killers and Fool for Love. At Apple Tree Theatre, he received a Jeff nomination for his role in 2 1/2 Jews and also appeared in their production of Denial. He performed at Court Theatre, Northlight, and was nominated for a Jeff Award for his role in The Sunshine Boys at National Jewish Theatre. Film credits include Holes, The Package, Poltergeist III, Burglar, Tough Guys, Code of Silence, Risky Business, Dunston Checks In, Thief and others. On television he was seen on ER, Becker, Frasier, Wise Guy, Crime Story, Untouchables, Missing Persons and more. Mr. Davis received a Lifetime Achievement honor from the Jeff committee.
