Artist Bio
Michole Briana White
(Bio as of January 2007)
Michole Briana White most recently appeared at the Goodman in Radio Golf during the 2006/2007 Season. Other Goodman credits incldue Jitney, which she later continued in a nine-month run off-Broadway (2000 Obie, Drama Desk and AUDELCO Awards). Just coming in from a two-month run of Radio Golf at Huntington Theatre, Ms. White is happy to be back in her hometown doing the legendary work of August Wilson. Her most recent credits include North on South Central Avenue playing Billie Holiday at the Ford Amphitheatre, in Los Angeles; Spike Lee’s She Hate Me and The 25th Hour; Suzan-Lori Parks’ Fucking A at The Public Theater/New York Shakespeare Festival with S. Epatha Merkerson, Mos Def and Bobby Cannavale, who also played her counterpart on the television series 100 Centre Street, directed by Sidney Lumet. She was recently submitted for an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress for the pilot Cop Shop starring Richard Dreyfuss.
