Artist Bio
Michal Palzewicz

Michal Palzewicz makes his Goodman Theatre debut. Mr. Palzewicz is a member of Trine, a virtuosic world-fusion band, and a current company member of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, where he has performed in The Pirates of Penzance, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The White Snake, Medea/Macbeth/Cinderella and She Loves Me. Mr. Palzewicz was the founding member of the Elsner String Quartet, which earned him the Saunderson Award at the 52nd Coleman Chamber Ensemble Competition and the winner of the Young Concert Artists Auditions in Leipzig, Germany. He studied with the Amadeus Quartet, Hugh Maguire, David Soyer, Julia Lichten, Michael Tree, Tomasz Strahl, Barbara Musiej and attended the Academy of Music in Warsaw and the Manhattan School of Music. Mr. Palzewicz is the principal cellist of the Rogue Valley Symphony, founding member of the Palzewicz Ensemble and currently teaches cello at Southern Oregon University.
