Michael Medeiros

Michael Medeiros most recently appeared at the Goodman in Camino Real during the 2011/2012 Season. Other Goodman credits include the Duke of Burgundy in Joan Dark, which played the European Capital of Culture in Linz, Austria. New York appearances include Emilie’s Voltaire at the Beckett Theatre, Violet at Playwrights Horizons, Museum at the New York Shakespeare Festival and Ah, Wilderness! at Circle in the Square. Regional credits include The Front Page at Long Wharf Theatre, Floyd Collins at Actors Theatre of Louisville, Joe Turner’s Come and Gone at Baltimore’s Centerstage, The Baker’s Wife at Paper Mill Playhouse, Twelfth Night at the Huntington Theatre Company and Outrage at The Kennedy Center. Mr. Medeiros has sung the title roles in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and Man of La Mancha. Film credits include X-Men: First Class; Synecdoche, New York; Margot at the Wedding; RoboCop 2 and Son of the Morning Star. He has guest starred in numerous television series, among them seven episodes of Law & Order. Mr. Medeiros has written and directed two films: Underground, which played festivals internationally, and the feature-length dark comedy Tiger Lily Road, currently in post-production.
