Michael F. Goldberg
(Bio as of September 2006)
Michael F. Goldberg most recently appeared at the Goodman in King Lear during the 2006/2007 Season. He is making his Goodman Theatre debut. Chicago credits include Macbeth in Kabuki Lady Macbeth, As You Like It, Much Ado About Nothing and The Comedy of Errors at Chicago Shakespeare Theater; Metamorphoses at Lookingglass Theatre; The Tempest at First Folio Shakespeare Festival; Action Movie: The Play and Ubu Raw at Defiant Theatre; The Flight of the Phoenix at American Blues Theatre; and productions at Big Game Theatre, Bailiwick Repertory, A Red Orchid Theatre and Wisdom Bridge Theatre. Regional credits include Achilles at The People’s Light & Theatre Company and The Idaho Shakespeare Festival. Television credits include the CBS series Early Edition. He directed A Midsummer Night’s Dream at First Folio Shakespeare Festival and has directed fight choreography in many Chicago theaters including Court Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Lookingglass Theatre and Shattered Globe.
