Mr. Biagi’s most recently collaborated with the Goodman on Turn of the Century during the 2008/2009 Season. His most recent project was arranging the music for Steps in Time, Mr. Tune’s new autobiographical musical memoir. In the past three decades, Mr. Biagi has served as music director for many of Tune’s projects, including White Tie and Tails, Tommy Tune Tonight! on Broadway, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and numerous concerts with Tommy and the Manhattan Rhythm Kings. He provided music direction for the U.S. premiere of What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? for Houston’s Theatre Under The Stars. Other national and international credits include Will Rogers Follies, Damn Yankees, Grease!, Grand Hotel, The King and I, Me and My Girl, West Side Story, South Pacific and Fiddler on the Roof. Mr. Biagi has been privileged to “keep time” for such luminaries as George Burns, Carol Channing, Rudolf Nureyev and the ‘inimitable’ Charles Pierce.
