Artist Bio
Michael A. Torrey
(Bio as of October 2003)
Michael A. Torrey most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Edward Albee Festival during the 2003/2004 Season. Other Goodman credits include A Christmas Carol under the direction of Steve Scott. Mr. Torrey has also been seen at Chicago Shakespeare Theater in Antony and Cleopatra, Henry IV Part I and Henry IV Part II; Shakespeare’s Greatest Hits; The Incident (Jeff Award-winning ensemble) at Next Theatre and A Few Good Men at the Theatre at the Center in Munster, IN., both under the direction of Kate Buckley; Driving Miss Daisy at the New American Theatre in Rockford; and Funny Money at Drury Lane-Evergreen Park. Regional credits include First Stage Milwaukee, Tennessee Repertory Theatre, The Clarence Brown Theatre and Stage One Theatre of Louisville, KY. Television credits include Unsolved Mysteries and Turks on CBS. Mr. Torrey was also a part of the NBC Emmy-winning public service campaign Raising Parents.
