Artist Bio
Melody Angel
(Bio as of April 2018)
Melody Angel makes her Goodman Theatre debut. She is a singer-songwriter and a self-taught guitarist from the South Side of Chicago who plays a mix of blues/rock. In 2016, she performed at the Chicago Blues Festival and will appear again this year. In January 2017, she opened for Buddy Guy at Buddy Guy’s Legends. In April 2017, she performed in Australia at the Byron Bay Blues Festival. Recently, she was the subject of the documentary Black Girl Rock. She performs regularly at the Rosa’s Lounge blues club in Chicago. Her music is available online and at her shows. MelodyAngelMusic.com
