Artist Bio
Maury Cooper
Maury Cooper has previously appeared at the Goodman in The Visit. Court Theatre credits include Uncle Vanya, Mary Stuart, Hamlet, The Cherry Orchard, A Delicate Balance, The Master Builder, Endgame and The Rivals. He has also been seen at Steppenwolf in Detail of a Larger Work and Fahrenheit 451; at Next Theater in Entertaining Mr. Sloan; and at Remy Bumppo in Heartbreak House. In 2003, Mr. Cooper received a Jeff Award for best supporting actor in Judgment at Nuremberg at Shattered Globe. His regional credits include productions at the Guthrie, Portland Shakespeare Repertory, Berkeley Repertory, Stratford Shakespeare, Milwaukee Repertory, Indiana Repertory, Los Angeles Actors’ Theater, the Roundabout in Provincetown and Circle in the Square. Overseas, Mr. Cooper toured in Japan in Buried Child.
