Mattie Hawkinson

Mattie Hawkinson most recently appeared at the Goodman in Rock ‘n’ Roll during the 2008/2009 Season. Her Chicago credits include The Snow Queen, Half and Half, Hanging Fire and the upcoming Blackbird with William Petersen at Victory Gardens Theater; I Never Sang for My Father at Steppenwolf Theatre Company; The Winter’s Tale, A Little Night Music and A Flea In Her Ear at Chicago Shakespeare Theater; Hillbilly Antigone at Lookingglass Theatre Company; Vincent in Brixton at Apple Tree Theatre; The Importance of Being Earnest at First Folio Theatre; The Maids at Exigent Theatre; and A Boston Marriage at Roadworks Productions (After Dark Award). Regional credits include Magnolia and The Legend of Minnie Willet at The National Playwrights Conference; A Little Night Music at Centerstage; Third at Denver Center Theatre Group; and Inherit the Wind at Indiana Repertory Theatre. Her film credits include Everybody’s Fine (Miramax) with Robert DeNiro and Silent E2 (Fergus Films). Her television credits include As the World Turns (CBS). She studied at Northwestern University and London Academy of Theatre.
