Artist Bio
Mary Wilson
(Bio as of June 2002)
Mary Wilson most recently appeared at the Goodman in Galileo Galilei during the 2001/2002 Season. Recent performances include Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 with Frederica von Stade in the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s Symphony of Stars: A Gift of Music; and Poulenc’s Gloria at Carnegie Hall with the New York Sinfonia and Festival Chorus. She was a National Finals Winner in the 1999 Metropolitan Opera National Council Competition, a winner of the National Federation of Music Clubs Young Artist Competition, and the recipient of the Adams Fellowship at the Carmel Bach Festival in California. Upcoming performances include Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte with Dayton Opera and the leading role of Controller in the U.S. premiere of John Dove’s Flight at Opera Theatre of St. Louis.
