Artist Bio
Martin Yurek
(Bio as of November 2007)
Martin Yurek most recently appeared at the Goodman in A Christmas Carol during the 2007/2008 Season. Chicago credits include work with Chicago Shakespeare Theater, ShawChicago Theater Company, the Marriott Theater in Lincolnshire, Court Theatre, Northlight Theatre, Victory Gardens Theater, Chicago Dramatists, Ravinia Festival, Buffalo Theatre Ensemble, Drury Lane Theatre, Theatre at the Center, Theatre Building Chicago and Illinois Theatre Center. Regional work includes Madison Repertory Theatre, Milwaukee Shakespeare, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, American Players Theatre, New American Theatre, Riverside Theatre, The Illinois Shakespeare Festival and Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival. Mr. Yurek spent five seasons with Summer Shakespeare at the University of Notre Dame. His off-Broadway credits include the New Victory Theatre in New York. Mr. Yurek received his training at The Theatre School at DePaul University.
