Artist Bio
Mark Zeisler
(Bio as of November 2001)
Mark Zeisler most recently appeared at the Goodman in Big Love during the 2001/2002 Season. Mark originated the role of Constantine at the Humana Festival 2000 at Actors Theatre of Louisville. He has also appeared there in Dracula, The Tempest, The Seagull, Children of the Sun and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Regional theater credits include two seasons at American Repertory Theatre, plus productions at the McCarter, GeVa, Wilma, Philadelphia Drama Guild and Center Stage. Mr. Zeisler’s Broadway credits include Alfieri and Mike in the 1998 revival of A View from the Bridge at the Roundabout and Neil Simon theaters. He created the roles of Ahmed in Acts of Faith (Mosaic/92 St. Y) and Val Gigante in the premiere of Michael Weller’s The Heart of Art (Hypothetical Company), and has also appeared in Measure for Measure, Romeo and Juliet and As You Like It at the NYSF. Mr. Zeisler’s film credits include Random Hearts, The Thomas Crown Affair and Shaft 2000. Television appearances include New York News, New York Undercover, Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Reasonable Doubts, Against the Law and numerous soaps and commercials.
