Marie Ramirez Downing, she/her (Voice Coach) is an Assistant Professor of Voice and Speech at The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Professional credits: Inherit the Wind (Goodman Theatre); Sunny Afternoon (Chicago Shakespeare Theatre); Leroy and Lucy (Steppenwolf Theatre Company); As You Like It (Oregon Shakespeare Festival); Sally & Tom (Marin Theatre Company); Winter’s Tale, Everybody, Radium Girls (Illinois Theatre). She holds an MFA in Acting from The Theatre School at DePaul University.
