Artist Bio
Marguerite Stimpson
(Bio as of January 2006)
Marguerite Stimpson most recently appeared at the Goodman in Pericles during the 2005/2006 Season. New York credits include the workshop of Apple Cove with Lark Theatre Company and One Hit Wonder at the New York Fringe Festival. Regional credits include Pericles at Shakespeare Theatre Company, directed by Mary Zimmerman; Butley at the Huntington Theatre opposite Nathan Lane; Antigone and The Idiots Karamazov at American Repertory Theatre; Romeo and Juliet, The Play About the Baby, Proof, The Diary of Anne Frank and Closer at the Hippodrome State Theatre and Apple Cove at the Todd Mountain Theatre Project. Other roles include Honey opposite Denis O’Hare in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? as part of the Wang Theatre Center American Voices Reading Series. She appeared in the original touring company of Salem Justice, as well as performing as Lilly in the workshop of Lilly’s Crossing at Artspower. Film credits include Going Under. Television credits include NBC’s Ed. Ms. Stimpson is a M.F.A. graduate of the Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at A.R.T.
