Artist Bio
Liza Fernandez
(Bio as of July 2009)
Liza Fernandez most recently appeared at the Goodman in Boleros for the Disenchanted during the 2008/2009 Season. She was last seen in Perfect Mendacity (directed by David Cromer) at Steppenwolf Theatre Company’s First Look Repertory of New Work 2008. Other Chicago credits include Sonia Flew (understudy) at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot at Victory Gardens Theater and The Gift Theatre Company, On The Verge at Remy Bumppo Theatre Company, Widowers’ Houses at TimeLine Theatre Company, Psst…I Have Something To Tell You, Mi Amor at The Athenaeum Theatre (directed by Henry Godinez) and Buicks at the side project. Ms. Fernandez became a member of Teatro Vista last year. Her New York credits include Cowboy Mouth at The Producers’ Club and Yerma at Circle in the Square Theatre. Her film credits include a recent music video for Kinto Sol and independent films made in Chicago and New York. She holds a BA from State University of New York.
