Artist Bio
Lewon Johns
(Bio as of August 2022)
Lewon Johns (Montrellous U/S) makes his Goodman debut. Chicago credits include Choir Boy (Steppenwolf Theatre); Sweat (Paramount Theatre); Hoodoo Love and The Last Pair of Earlies (Raven Theatre); Mlima’s Tale (Griffin Theatre); How A Boy Falls (Northlight Theatre). Regional and touring credits include Les Miserable (Theatre Memphis) and A Raisin in the Sun (The Renaissance Project Atlanta). Television credits include Chicago P.D.; NeXT and Time Traveler’s Wife. He won the Black Theatre Alliance Awards’ Harry Belafonte Award (Best Actor in an Ensemble). Johns is an alumnus of Mississippi State University (BA) and The Company Acting Studio (MCFA) and is represented by Paonessa Talent Agency.
