Laxmi Kumaran most recently collaborated with the Goodman on Galileo Galilei during the 2001/2002 Season. Other Goodman credits include Long Day’s Journey Into Night, A Christmas Carol and Blue Surge and before that in the Goodman Stu­dio during the 1996-97 season and on the Mainstage during the 1997-98 season. She has worked at the Court Theatre on Piano, Twelfth Night, La Bête, The Little Foxes, Learned Ladies, Fair Ladies at a Game of Poem Cards and The Invention of Love directed by Charles Newell; Hay Fever, The Real Thing and Gross Indecency directed by Gary Griffin; Mary Stu­art, In the Penal Colony and Life’s a Dream directed by Joanne Akalaitis. She has also stage managed at the Royal George, Apple Tree Theatre and Next The­atre. She teaches stage management at Northern Illi­nois University.
