Artist Bio
Lauren Haughton
(Bio as of September 2008)
Lauren Haughton most recently appeared at the Goodman in Turn of the Century during the 2008/2009 Season. She makes her Goodman debut. She appeared in the Broadway, Los Angeles, National Tour and Chicago productions of Wicked. She performed off-Broadway in Fools in Love (a musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and as a member of the original companies for the world premiere of Pompeii and Hans Christian Anderson (with Maury Yeston). Her regional credits include Damn Yankees (Lola), Crazy for You (Irene), Chicago (Velma and Annie), Amadeus (Constanza), Beauty and the Beast (understudying Belle), Jekyll and Hyde (understudying Lucy), Cabaret (Texas), La Cage Aux Folles (Bitelle) and West Side Story (Estella). Television credits include Guiding Light (CBS). She received her BFA in musical theater from Syracuse University.
