Artist Bio
Kyle Anthony Cortés
(Bio as of April 2025)
Kyle Anthony Cortés, M.M. (He/Him), is an Afro-Latino composer-performer based in Chicago. After completing his master’s degree at DePaul University in voice performance, he has expanded his focus to composing, music directing, and sound designing for the stage. In line with his artistic pursuits, he is a resident teaching artist at The Chicago High School for the Arts (ChiArts). His recent credits include working with companies such as the Goodman Theatre, The Second City Theatre, Definition Theatre, Filament Theatre, Vision Latino Theatre Co., and Forevermore Dance and Theater Arts, in various kacortes.com | IG: @kacortes
