Karla L. Beard most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Amen Corner during the 2000/2001 Season. She also appeared in the Ovations! production of Promis­es, Promises at the Auditorium Theatre, Hands for New Tuners, Big River at Apple Tree, Voice of Good Hope at Victory Gardens (Jeff nomination) and Ti Moune in Once on This Island at Apple Tree (Jeff nomination and BTAA nomination). Her television credits include Arrest and Trial. Karla is a recent music education graduate from VanderCook College of Music.
