Artist Bio
Karissa Murrell Myers
Karissa Murrell Myers (she/her) is a Chicago-based Filipino American theatre maker. Gloria, King of the Yees (Goodman, u/s). Her work has been developed and/or produced at Strawdog Theatre, Rivendell Theatre Ensemble, A Red Orchid Theatre, American Blues Theatre, The Gift Theatre, Silk Road Rising, Broken Nose Theatre, and Bramble Theatre Company, where she serves as Artistic Director. “Outstanding New Work” Jeff Awards nomination for her play On the Greenbelt.
