Artist Bio
Juliette Carrillo
JULIETTE CARRILLO (Director, Mother Road) has collaborated with Octavio Solis on numerous projects, including Lydia, which premiered at the Denver Theater Center and had subsequent productions at Yale Repertory Theatre and the Mark Taper Forum. Ms. Carillo has directed new plays and classics at theaters such as Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Arizona Theater Company and The Magic Theater. She was also an artistic associate at South Coast Repertory Theatre for seven years, where she directed regularly in their season and ran the Hispanic Playwright’s Project, collaborating with Latino writers across the country. An ensemble member of Cornerstone Theatre Company, Ms. Carrillo has collaborated with numerous communities in writing and directing original work.
