Artist Bio
Jōvan Dansberry
Jōvan Dansberry is a St. Louis native who received his Bachelor of Arts from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Now based in New York City, Jōvan is a performer, movement director and choreographer in both the theater and commercial sectors. Broadway/Tours: Bob Fosse’s Dancin, Wicked and King Kong. Theater: The Metropolitan Opera, Roundabout Theater Company and New York City Center. TV/Live Performance: SNL!, The Tonight Show, The Tony Awards, POSE and Up Here. Awards: Outer Critics Circle Special Achievement in Theater. Jōvan is also the Associate Choreographer of The Preacher’s Wife, a new musical currently playing at The Alliance Theater in Atlanta, GA. @jovan_dansberry
