Artist Bio

Jomary Hechavarria has been Teatro Buendía’s pianist and musical director since 1996. Her Teatro Buendía credits include La Candida Erendira, Otra Tempestad, La vida en rosa, Charenton, Woyzeck, La visita de la Vieja Dama and Bodas de sangre. She eceived Musical Composition Award from the National Cuban Writers and Artists Union (UNEAC).  Ms. Hechavarría is a graduate of the School of Performing Arts of the University of Arts in Havana.
