Artist Bio
John Reeger
John Reeger returns to the Goodman, where his previous credits include Romeo and Juliet; Richard II; Cry, the Beloved Country; The Good Person of Setzuan and three seasons in A Christmas Carol. Recent Chicago credits include My Fair Lady at the Paramount Theatre; Heartbreak House at Writers’ Theatre; The Illusion and The Wild Duck at Court Theatre; Richard III and Amadeus at Chicago Shakespeare Theater; The Music Man and The Drowsy Chaperone at Marriott Theatre Lincolnshire and Curtains, The Sound of Music and Gypsy at Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace. He co-authored the musical The Christmas Schooner with Julie Shannon, which has received more than 100 productions nationally and was produced at the Mercury Theater this past holiday season.Mr. Reeger is the recipient of a Jeff Award, an After Dark Award and an Illinois Artist Fellowship.
