Artist Bio
John Phillips
John Phillips makes his Goodman and Chicago debut with Oedipus Complex. Theater credits include four seasons at The American Players Theatre in such works as Othello, The Play’s the Thing, As You Like It, Richard II, Tartuffe and A Winter’s Tale. Additional theater credits include productions with Next Act Theatre, Milwaukee Shakespeare and The Cherry Lane’s original production of Sixteen Wounded in New York. He most recently appeared as Oswald in Milwaukee Repertory Theatre’s production of King Lear and as Paul in Born Yesterday. Film credits include My Soul to Take, My Soul to Take II and Dreaming on Christmas.
