Artist Bio
John Lordan
(Bio as of February 2003)
John Lordan most recently appeared at the Goodman in By the Music of the Spheres during the 2002/2003 Season. He played Robert this past autumn in Proof at Wisconsin’s Madison Repertory Theatre and the father to Neve Campbell in Robert Altman’s movie, The Company. His other numerous film and television appearances in New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles include David Lynch’s Midwestern poem, The Straight Story, where he was featured as the kind priest. As a playwright, Mr. Lordan has won l7 national awards and an Illinois Arts Council Full Fellowship in Playwriting. He is a member of the venerable actors’ club, The Players, located in Edwin Booth’s former home in New York City. SAG/AFTRA/AEA
