Artist Bio
John Byrnes
(Bio as of August 2012)
John Byrnes returns to the Goodman, where he previously appeared in The Hairy Ape, a co-production with The Hypocrites (with whom he is a company member). Recent Chicago credits include Timon of Athens at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Assisted Living at Profiles Theatre, Season’s Greetings at Northlight Theatre, Waiting for Lefty at American Blues Theater, This at Theater Wit, Port at the Griffin Theatre Company, Thieves Like Us at The House Theatre of Chicago, All My Sons at TimeLine Theatre Company, The Overwhelming at Next Theatre Company and Our Town with The Hypocrites. Regional credits include work with Montana Shakespeare in the Parks, the Minnesota Fringe Festival, New Repertory Theatre, The Vineyard Playhouse and the Huntington Theatre Company. Mr. Byrnes has appeared in various independent films, television spots and radio commercials.
