Artist Bio
Johanna Day
(Bio as of October 2006)
Johanna Day most recently appeared at the Goodman in Vigils during the 2006/2007 Season. She received a 2001 Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her performance as Claire in Proof. She appeared in the world premiere of Edward Albee’s Peter and Jerry at Hartford Stage. Ms. Day’s other theater credits include The Evil Doers at Sundance Institute; Satellites at the Public Theater; Jerome Hairston’s AM Sunday at Center Stage in Baltimore; The Rainmaker, An American Daughter and Anthems: Culture Clash in D.C. at Arena Stage; Helen by Ellen McLaughlin at New York Shakespeare Festival; How I Learned to Drive by Paula Vogel at Century Theatre and Vineyard Theatre; Oedipus written and directed by Dare Clubb at Blue Light Theatre Company; Blue Window and Three Postcards by Craig Lucas and Once In a Lifetime at Atlantic Theater Company; and many new plays at Cape Cod Theatre Project. Film and television credits include Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Law & Order: SVU, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, Judging Amy, The Making of …, The Eternal Pedicure and Unbreakable.
