Jodi Long makes her Goodman Theatre debut. She made her Broadway debut when she was seven years old in Nowhere To Go But Up, directed by Sidney Lumet. Her other Broadway credits include Loose Ends with Kevin Kline, Stephen Sondheim’s Getting Away With Murder, The Bacchae and Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s Flower Drum Song for which she won an Ovation Award at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles. Ms. Long’s off-Broadway credits include Old Money (Lincoln Center Theater); Red and The Wash (Manhattan Theater Club); Golden Child and Family Devotions (Public Theater). Her one-woman-play, Surfing DNA, was Ovation-nominated in Los Angeles for Best Solo Performance. Her film work includes A Picture of You, Beginnings, Paul Schrader’s Patty Hearst, Sour Sweet and The Hot Chick. Currently Ms. Long is seen as Okcha on TBS’ hit comedy series Sullivan and Son. Other past series regular parts include Cafe Americain (NBC); Margaret Cho’s mother in All American Girl (ABC); Miss Match (NBC) and Eli Stone (ABC). She also wrote and co-produced the award-winning documentary Long Story Short, directed by Christine Choy.
