Jessica Fisch is a Joseph Jeff Award-winning director based in Chicago. She makes work that is visually dynamic, adventurous, rigorous, and always a little funny. Her recent production of Dear Evan Hansen (Paramount Theatre), “Continues Fisch’s remarkable run of shows filled with fresh ideas, including ‘Beautiful: The Carole King Musical’ and ‘Catch Me If You Can’ at Marriott Theatre,” according to the Chicago Tribune. Other recent credits include Come From Away (Marriott Theatre) and the world premiere of Do Something Pretty (Rivendell Theatre Ensemble). Jessica has directed and developed work across the country with companies such as Steppenwolf Theatre, Round House Theatre, Victory Gardens, Writers Theatre, Northlight Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Drury Lane Theatre, Playwrights’ Center Minneapolis, Playwrights Realm, Public Theater’s Emerging Writers’ Group, among many more.
