Jesse J. Perez most recently appeared at the Goodman in Candide during the 2010/2011 Season. Other Goodman credits include William Shakespeare’s, Pericles. His other Chicago credits include Argonautika and Lookingglass Alice at Lookingglass Theatre Company. His off-Broadway credits include Triple Happiness at Second Stage Theatre; Barrio Girl at Summer Play Festival; Recent Tragic Events at Playwrights Horizons; In the Penal Colony at Classic Stage Company; and Up Against the Wind at New York Theatre Workshop. His regional credits include Iago in Othello and A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Shakespeare on the Sound; A Servant of Two Masters, Lulu, The Cherry Orchard and The Taming of the Shrew at Yale Repertory Theatre; The Hard Weather Boating Party at Humana Festival of New American Plays; Arabian Nights at Berkeley Repertory Theatre; Celebrity Row at Portland Center Stage; Hamlet at McCarter Theatre Center; and Lucia di Lammermoor at The Metropolitan Opera.
