Artist Bio
Jeff Sugg
(Bio as of June 2011)
Jeff Sugg most recently collaborated with the Goodman on Chinglish during the 2010/2011 Season. Mr. Sugg is a New York-based artist, designer and technical advisor. He is a co-founding member of the performance group Accinosco with Cynthia Hopkins and Jim Findlay, and co-designed the critically acclaimed Accidental Trilogy (2007 Bessie Award). Additional theater design credits include 33 Variations on Broadway (projections; 2009 Henry Hewes Design Award), Bring It On: The Musical (video; the Alliance Theatre); Brooklyn Omnibus (co-design set and projections; BAM Harvey Theater); Compulsion (projections; The Public Theater and Berkeley Repertory Theatre); As You Like It (projections; the Shakespeare Theatre Company); The Book of Grace (projections; The Public Theater); The Slug Bearers of Kayrol Island (co-designer, set and projections; Vineyard Theatre; 2008 Henry Hewes, Obie and Lucille Lortel awards) and The Truth: A Tragedy (production design; Soho Rep). He has also worked with many renowned companies and artists including Laurie Anderson, Lee Breuer, Richard Foreman, Mikel Rouse and The Wooster Group.
