Artist Bio
Jason Harrington
(Bio as of June 2019)
Jason Harrington returns to the Goodman, where he has audio described numerous performances. The Education Outreach Manager at Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Harrington manages educational programs that annually serve 40,000 students and almost 500 schools, as well as programs providing access for patrons with disabilities. Recent audio description credits include Tug of War: Parts 1 & 2, The Book of Joseph, Othello, Henry VIII, Gypsy, Henry V, King Lear, The Tempest, Shakespeare in Love, Othello: The Remix (Chicago Shakespeare Theater) and Bobby Clearly (Steep Theatre). Harrington served on the steering committee for the Chicago Cultural Accessibility Consortium and is a board member of Up and Coming Theatre in Arlington Heights, where his production of Heathers: the Musical earned him a BroadwayWorld Chicago Award.
