Artist Bio
James Krag
(Bio as of March 2008)
James Krag most recently appeared at the Goodman in The Trip to Bountiful during the 2007/2008 Season. Other Goodman credits include Dinner with Friends directed by Steve Scott, Millfire, which was later remounted at Women’s Project Theatre in New York City. Chicago credits include Thyestes and Phedre at Court Theatre; Two Gentlemen of Verona, King Lear and Love’s Labour’s Lost at Chicago Shakespeare Theater; Pacific at Steppenwolf Theatre Company; the world premieres of Court Martial at Fort Devens, Homeland Security, Battle of the Bands and Scorched Earth at Victory Gardens Theater; and the Jeff Award-nominated The Best Man at Remy Bumppo Theatre Company. New York credits include understudying the original Broadway production of Burn This. At the Purple Rose Theatre Company in Chelsea, Michigan, Mr. Krag created the role of Sandy in bestselling author Mitch Albom’s Duck Hunter Shoots Angel, which was remounted at City Theatre in Detroit. He also appeared for two seasons at the Lakeside Shakespeare Theater. Film and television credits include While You Were Sleeping, Mercury Rising, Molly, Prison Break, Early Edition, E.R., Dharma and Greg, Ellen and a recurring role on Missing Persons.
